Since ancient times, bees - especially honey bees, have been seen to symbolize messages from the Divine and is associated with the soul. In Egyptian mythology, bees grew from the tears of the sun god Ra when they landed on the desert sand. Honey and bees is also connected to the Yoruba goddess, Oshun. Oshun—the goddess of love, beauty, and fertility—is the youngest Orisha and one of the most adored in the Yoruba religion, and her favorite food is honey.
Our brother is a beekeeper, and as soon as his hives are stable and strong, we hope to source our wax melts from his magical bees. <3
